Diversity in Our Union Movement

Participants will discuss diversity, inclusion and representation in the union movement and how to implement resolutions, diversity principles and other change proposals to be considered during the AFL-CIO Convention.

Changing to Organize, Organizing for Power
Hear from leaders and workers about campaigns that build capacity to organize and link politics to organizing, and the campaign to change America's labor laws to restore workers' freedom to form unions.

Strengthening State and Local Union Movements
Panels will explore how we build capacity, strength and alliances at the state and local levels to support organizing, issue and political mobilization.

2-3:00 p.m.
Strengthening State and Local Union Movements (cont.)

3-5:30 p.m.
Bringing Justice to the Global Economy
Our global economy requires global unions. This session will examine workers' campaigns that cross national borders and workers' rights in the global economy.
