Public transportation. The Port Authority of Allegheny County has more than 875 buses, 83 light rail vehicles and the Monongahela and Duquesne Inc. lines. The service is good all around town and superb around the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Paratransit. If you're a senior citizen who lives in Pennsylvania or a person with a disability, you have another excellent option—the ACCESS program, the nation's largest paratransit program of its kind for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
